Nehemiah celebrated his 2nd birthday yesterday at Monkey Joe's. We had such a fun time! I work with his mom and he and Ella were born a week apart. I tried to snap some pictures of him but he wouldn't sit still long enough for it. He had a ball on the slides. He didn't even want to open his gifts!

Memorial Day
We had a nice, relaxing day today. We slept late, went to lunch with my sisters and then played outside all afternoon. Ella loves being outside. Everytime we go out we have to blow bubbles and pick flowers (which are really just weeds). She has to pick one for everybody in the family and I end up with a huge collection in my hands. We were so glad to see the sunshine! We hope all of you had a nice holiday weekend as well.
Birthday Tea Party
To celebrate Ella's special day we decided to have a tea party, even Scott joined in. (He's so sweet to participate in all the girly stuff!) We got all dressed up! Ella wore her new princess Belle gown. We had tea and her favorite snacks: M&Ms, raisins and cookies. At the end of the tea party she looked at us and said, "I'm full"! We couldn't help but laugh at our silly girl! She had a wonderful day.
Ella's Birthday Party
Ella had a blast at her bouncy birthday party! All of her friends and family came to celebrate with her. Happy Birthday baby girl! You bring so much joy to our lives! We love you!

Birthday Countdown!
Only a few more days until Ella's birthday! We can hardly believe she will be 2! I have been teaching her how old she is and how to hold her two fingers up to show others. She can sort of hold her fingers right but when I ask her how old she will be she never gives the right number. She usually says she will be 9! Two year olds say the funniest stuff.

Tea Party

We went to a mother/daughter tea party this afternoon. There was a table of girly accessories to choose from and she chose a yellow boa (which is her color of choice right now), a huge pearl necklace and two rings. We enjoyed tea sandwiches, fruit, cheesecake squares and other sweet treats. Ella's favorite was the chocolate dipped strawberries. Yum! Mimi and Grammy were there too and we had a really special time.
